A Tribute to Our Dedicated Staff and Community
Our incredible staff, based in Cagayan De Oro, Davao City, and Ilocos Sur, Philippines, is the backbone of the Pinoy Rob Foundation. Their dedication and passion bring our vision to life. We chose to begin our work in the Purok Arroyo Community in Davao City, a vibrant and densely populated area that, despite starting as an area with informal settlers, is home to some of the most resilient, kind-hearted, and appreciative individuals. Their warmth and gratitude inspire us every day to push forward and make a difference.
From our late-teen staff and volunteers to our eldest team member, Pinoy Rob, every person involved is driven by a shared commitment to create lasting change. Together, they work tirelessly to provide education, nutrition, health services, and opportunities for this wonderful community.
This dream began because of the passion and generosity of Robert Garcia, a Registered Nurse who used his personal savings to start the foundation. He wanted to ensure these programs could succeed and make a meaningful impact before inviting others to join.

Mission of the Pinoy Rob Foundation
The Pinoy Rob Foundation is committed to empowering underprivileged communities by addressing education, health, and economic sustainability through innovative and impactful programs.
- Education: We provide personalized academic support through after-school tutoring and mentoring, helping children improve their grades, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
- Health: Our programs focus on proper nutrition, including daily servings of cow’s milk, protein bars, and multivitamins, along with essential dental care such as cleanings and extractions. These efforts promote physical well-being, allowing children to focus on their education and long-term success.
- Employment Opportunities: We create meaningful jobs for unemployed, college-educated individuals, particularly women, by employing them as teachers and staff. These roles provide a stable income and help families achieve economic stability.
- Pinoy Rob Foundation Rice Cooperative: Through our rice co-op, we purchase 250 kilos of rice for P13,500 ($270 USD), sell it at a slight profit, and reinvest the proceeds. Once the co-op earns P2,700 in profit, we buy a 50-kilo bag of rice to distribute free to co-op members. After the initial investment, the co-op becomes self-sustaining, supported by the local community, and scalable to other areas, benefiting everyone with more affordable and free rice over time.
- Clean Drinking Water Cooperative (Future Project): We plan to establish a clean drinking water co-op by purchasing water purification equipment to address the widespread use of contaminated well water. The water will be sold at significantly lower prices than current for-profit vendors, ensuring affordable access to clean water. Profits will be reinvested for free water and to repay the initial capital and scale the initiative to other communities, providing a sustainable solution to a critical health issue.

Dental Health
Every child supported by the Pinoy Rob Foundation receives a free dental cleaning and inspection when they join the program and again on their birthday—all for just P700 ($14 USD) per child. For many of these children, this is their first-ever visit to a dentist, giving them the care and attention they desperately need for a healthy future.

The Wisdom Center (Education and Nutrition Program)
You can sponsor a child in our after-school program, providing them with the opportunity to receive personalized tutoring that builds confidence and ensures they don’t fall behind in school.
This program doesn’t just help children—it also supports unemployed, college-educated women who majored in education but couldn’t afford to take their teaching credential exams. By teaching in our program, they earn a small wage to support their families while gaining valuable experience in their field.
What Your Donation Supports:
- Tutoring and Mentoring: Each child receives personalized academic support, empowering them to improve their grades, build confidence, and achieve success. This ensures they don’t fall through the cracks—because every child deserves the chance to thrive.
- Nutritional Support: Each day, children receive one protein bar, one serving of cow’s milk, and two multivitamins to help fill critical nutritional gaps. Many of these children have never had the chance to taste real cow's milk before, which is why we prioritize providing them with cow's milk enriched with Vitamin D to support their growth and overall health.

Food & Nutrition
Your donation can transform a child's life by providing essential nutrition they’ve never had before. Many of these children have never tasted real cow’s milk, which is why we emphasize providing cow's milk enriched with Vitamin D, along with Little Critters Vitamins, proven to be highly effective, and protein bars to supplement their limited diets.
Most children in our program survive on 90% rice and 10% vegetables, or, if they’re fortunate, 90% rice, 5% vegetables, and 5% protein. With your help, we can ensure they receive the nutrients they need to grow strong, stay healthy, and thrive in school.
How You Can Help
Support one child at a level that works best for you:
- Per Day: For just P29 ($0.58 USD), you can give a child milk, vitamins, and a protein bar for one day.
- Per Week: For P145 ($2.91 USD), you can nourish a child for a week (5 days).

Empowering Entrepreneurs with Micro-Grants and Education
At the Pinoy Rob Foundation, we provide micro-grants of P5,000 (approximately $100 USD) to help unemployed men and women start small businesses and build a better future for their families. These grants give individuals the opportunity to launch ventures that generate much-needed income for essentials like food, education, and shelter.
After the initial funding, we do not provide any further financial support—instead, we focus on equipping recipients with the skills and knowledge to succeed. Through our unlimited financial education support, we guide them on topics such as budgeting, saving, and scaling their businesses. Our 10-session online financial education course, available on the Pinoy Rob YouTube Channel, provides essential tools for long-term success.
This sustainable model ensures that recipients take ownership of their businesses, learning to overcome challenges and grow independently. With ongoing mentorship and access to resources, they are empowered to create lasting change for themselves and their communities.
